The Jolie-Pitts visit French amusement park
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and their brood made a surprise visit to an amusement park in the Charente-Limousin region in France last week. "We're a small little town, we're not used to having celebrities," an employee of the park told a local paper. "We don't get French celebrities, so it's completely crazy to find yourself standing with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the most chased-after couple in the world in front of you. Completely crazy." Last Monday, while the park's six employees were having lunch, a blacked-out Mercedes van pulled up carrying the Jolie-Pitt clan. "I asked myself, 'Who is this man with a ball cap and this woman with black sunglasses?'" said another staffer. "We were all extremely shocked. Employees offered to waive the entry fee, but Pitt and Jolie insisted on paying and stayed about an hour. "To see Brad Pitt knocking around in a bouncy castle with his children [and] screaming like wild animals was like a hallucination," said the park's operator.Thursday, June 28, 2007
Ocean's Twelve - 2004 - DVD

In preparation for Ocean's Thirteen and in utter tardiness to stay up to date on Steven Soderbergh's men-gone-glam trilogy, I was indulgently overjoyed to watch Ocean's Twelve recently. A reiteration of the first Ocean's film, George Clooney remains sexy, Brad Pitt continues to swallow gulps of food between cool sentences--eating has never been so cool--and though this list could continue to describe the rest of the characters, including Matt Damon's freshman gangster tendencies, his eager yearning to talk tough like his un-emasculated compatriots, it will stop here, because you already know these guys. And that is what makes Twelve endlessly entertaining: Clever, debonair men looking great and succeeding because of it.
These next few posts will be a short few sentences in order to catch up quickly on my film notebook. Time is also scarce these days since I began a project as a research assistant to a visiting documentary filmmaker. Her name is Judith Helfand, and you can read all about her here. More on this in the coming days…

Angelina: "I am a very lucky woman"
Angelina Jolie is still gushing over her relationship with Ocean's 13 star Brad Pitt. While promoting A Mighty Heart, the actress and activist told a British paper, "I am a very lucky woman. I have a beautiful family and Brad is a supportive friend and a great father. And he is very romantic. We talk very deeply about how we feel. We're very similar. We support each other and back each other as parents. There is no divide... When my mother died Brad held her hand and helped me through all the stages of dealing with someone dying. After the funeral Brad brought everyone back to the house and asked questions about our mom. He focused on all the love and all the joy we were fortunate enough to have had. He is an extraordinary man."Wednesday, June 6, 2007

Angelina: "We need more Mommy and Daddy time"

Having a brood of four children is taking its toll on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's private time. The Mighty Heart actress told Marie Claire mag, "Mommy and Daddy need to try to figure out more time right now... Everybody needs individual time. Shiloh has our attention when the others are at school. Mad stays up the latest, so he gets the nighttime. During the day, I'll go for a walk or do something specific with Pax or Z... We're working on it, we're working on it. Right now, we're not great about Mommy-and-Daddy time."

Brad Pitt Long Hair Style

Men's Long Hair Styles
Brad Pitt will look good no matter what length or hair style he has. But you have to admit that the long look on him does look really good.
This type of men's hair style will require a lot of frequent trims to keep it laying as smooth as shown in thei photo.
Another thing to consider is that extra styling time may be neede to get this look every day. I'm not sure if Brad styles his own hair everyday or he has a stylist that does it. If you plan to do your own styling, you may want to seek the advice of your hair stylist for specific directions on how to achieve this look.

Angelina has nothing to hide
Angelina Jolie says her life is an open book in an interview with Ann Curry to air on the Today show and Dateline this Wednesday. "There's nothing I have to hide or defend," Jolie says. "I'm gonna live my life. There are gonna be times when people wanna try to attack me and I don't know why, but they will. And that's okay... There are other things I'm more concerned about. My kids are healthy. I have a lot I want to do in this world... I wanna do a lot of things as a woman, as a mom, and - and that's my focus... I have always been honest about who I am, and I've always been very outspoken to press. I think people have heard a lot from me over the years... [If] people wanna believe negative things, they will... I can't help that. At the end of the day, I'm gonna be dead one day. And what people say about me is gonna be what I accomplished and what I did in my life and how my children are." Jolie and partner Brad Pitt attended the Cannes premiere of A Mighty Heart today, in which the actress plays Mariane Pearl, the wife of slain journalist Daniel Pearl. "God, how...is this woman physically dealing with trying to maintain her strength and take care of this baby that's inside her, working so hard and...having so much emotional stress?" Jolie told Curry of the first time she met Pearl. "The day before we started shooting, I hardly slept and I was in a panic. I had gotten to know her, and I'd gotten to know their son. And the thought that he would see this one day. It was my responsibility to not just show the world but also show him how much his mother loved his father and how much they loved each other and how they handled this time."
Brangelina descend on Cannes
The Cannes Film Fest took on a whole new level of celebrity with the arrival of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on Sunday. The couple attended a press conference for A Mighty Heart, where Jolie admitted she had some fears about portraying the role of Mariane Pearl. "I was very, very nervous to get it right," she said. "Mariane seems to think we've done all right." The ubercouple and their four children are staying in a villa at the exclusive Hotel du Cap. "We got here yesterday and we had a beautiful day with our kids," Jolie said. "We've been playing with them since the moment we landed, and we plan to go home to them as soon as we are done with this." Pitt attended the conference as producer of the film, and said of the project, "It was our goal to see this thing through. And to fight hatred... As a father, too, I look at my kids and realize they will inherit this world. And we want to do everything we can to throw our weight in and make it a little bit better."

Brangelina's adoption to be processed in weeks
Angelina Jolie can expect to welcome a three-and-a-half-year-old Vietnamese orphan into her home sometime in the next few weeks. Adoption officials in Ho Chi Minh City are reportedly reviewing Jolie's application quickly and expect to have her adoption processed by the end of the month. The director of the Tam Binh orphanage says the little boy Jolie has applied to adopt was abandoned at a hospital as an infant and has lived at the orphanage ever since. "He is in good health," said the director. "He is a little bit shy." Jolie recently spoke to Newsweek about her humanitarian work and said of her new home of New Orleans, "Brad was doing a film here and so we were going to spend a month here. [We] realized it was a place we liked, we liked the people, I liked the school for the kids. They're very diverse. I liked the other parents. I feel very comfortable with them. We're happy having our children here. Brad is working on rebuilding here... But for me, just as a mom, I love the other parents and the kids and the schools. I'm starting to work on the education ehre and the school system here. There's a lot of work to be done."Wednesday, March 7, 2007
Brangelina to welcome 4-year-old boy
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's decision to add to their brood was a "process that began shortly after Shiloh was born [last May]," according to a source. Adoption officials confirmed yesterday that Jolie is adopting a boy between the age of 3 and 4 from the Tam Binh orphanage on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. Jolie told Good Morning America in an interview last December that she hoped to "balance the races so there's another African person in the house for Z [and] another Asian person in the house for Mad." The adoption procedure will likely take no longer than four months, according to the deputy head of Vietnam's International Adoption Department.source, source

Angelina officially adopting again
It's official - Angelina Jolie has filed papers to adopt a Vietnamese child. "She just filed the papers this week," said a top adoption official in Vietnam, confirming the rumors that have been circulating for the past few days. "They have to follow all procedures like any other American. They will have to work with the American side. No priority will be given to them, that means they will be treated equally as any other people." Jolie applied to adopt as a single parent, though partner Brad Pitt has officially adopted Jolie's other adopted children, 5-year-old Maddox and 2-year-old Zahara. Pitt and Jolie first visited orphanages in Vietnam on a trip over Thanksgiving last year, and Jolie made another visit to the country in January for a meeting about the Maddox Jolie-Pitt project, a charity for her son's homeland of Cambodia. Pitt said in January that the couple intended to expand their brood, saying, "Always, of course. We'll let you know when we get there."Monday, February 26, 2007

Brangelina adopting another boy

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have begun the process of adopting another child, according to media reports. The couple have reportedly filed paperwork with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to adopt a boy from one of the orphanages they visited in Vietnam last fall. The new addition would be the fourth child for the blended family - a brother for Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh.
