These songs are from the Hindi movie "Victoria No. 203".. This is yet another Trend following movie i.e., a remake. The same movie is released in 1972 casting Pran and Ashok kumar. This time these characters are done by Anupam kher and Om puri. Victoria No. 203 is a movie whose story turns all around the search for lost diamonds(who don't like diamonds). Hence the movie is big hit at that time. But the question is will it be repeated this time. As we have seen, most of the remakes are not up to the expectations(Umrao jaan, Don) there is question mark in the face of this movie also. But what attracted me is the caption of this movie "Diamonds are Forever". This is the title of the old bond movie(considered to be one of the best bond movies ever).
