VP to watch World Cup match with newsmen

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Vice President Boediono at 9 pm Friday will watch the match between Brazil and the Netherlands in the World Cup match along with newsmen at his official residence on Diponegoro street, Central Jakarta.

"The vice president wants to watch the match between Brazil and the Netherlands with newsmen who usually cover the vice presidential palace," spokesman Yopie Hidayat said here on Friday morning.

According to Hidayat, watching together with reporters was part of the vice president`s effort to have a friendship gathering with the scribe tribes.

Hidayat said that before the match between Brazil and the Netherlands started, the vice president with the newsmen would have a dinner of various typical Indonesian cuisine.

A few days before the start of World Cup match, Vice President Boediono said he it is Brazil or Spain who will emerge as champion.
