Last year, the producer-rapper El-P (pictured, right) shuttered his label Definitive Jux—at one point the premier source of a certain strand of brainy, fragmented, and brilliant independent hip-hop. Now, though, he's giving us one more taste of the sound he helped create: El-P, joined by original mates Bigg Jus (left) and Mr. Len (center), has reunited Company Flow, the mid-nineties group that gave the Def Jux sound its start, for a handful of reunion shows. This is head-twisting nostalgia rap at its best.
